This is an old problem. The best solution I know is to move ALL the files in the project on the C drive and rebuild the app/exe on C. It's even better if the computer doesn't have a CD drive.

>We have a set of applications developed in FP/Win 2.5b that will display an I/O error when starting, if there is no CD in the computer's CD drive. This does not happen on all computers, but there doesn't seem to be any pattern or cause for it. I don't think its got anything to do with the code per se, because I also experience a similar problem when I try to compile FP programs without a CD in my CD drive. I have heard of similar problems with ZIP drives.
