Hey Derek,

They don't have to have a hosted website ... just IIS running on one of their servers. Then your connection string to SQL Server is in a web.config in the WebServices directory in IIS.

Whichever way you end up doing it, I also agree with Mike that you should use the SQL Server name rather than it's IP.
