>>I've got a user that is running AccPac accounting software and when he attempts to print a report, the Windows installer will pop up and ask for a CD to install features that are on the CD. The strange thing is, the Windows installer refers to MY application instead of AccPac.
>>
>>How does the Windows installer get my application cross linked with AccPac. The only resolution he has found is to uninstall my application; which is not acceptable.
>>
>>Any ideas on how to resolve this issue. We've tried to the old re-install of my app, but AccPac is really a pain to uninstall and reinstall, so he is reluctant to do that.

>Any OCX or stuff like that? If they are not installed and the app is looking for them, and it was installed using the installer, it will popup that message. Drove us crazy for weeks until we figured it out.
Additionally, if this app requires .NET runtime, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the runtime, as it sometimes gets corrupted. Had this problem with QuickBooks recently, and to my surprise the tech support person in India knew right away (well, almost) what the problem was. Took us an hour of back-and-forth on the phone to get it all figured out and re-configured.
