Speaking of luck... we once went to visit one of our programmers who just got a new screw in the hip - having driven off the main road through his village, and having hit one of the little bridges over the ditch (again). We brought him the news that his village is proposing a new local tax for a few months to collect enough money to put upholstery on those bridges, so when he hits his third bridge, his car would just bounce off. He said "no need for that on all the bridges - it's just that one bridge that I keep hitting. Speaking of repeat crashes - see that guy in the corner? Some guy ran into him and broke his left leg. Well the same guy did his right leg last year. They must like each other a lot."

But I figure you hear stories like this every day over there, eh? Just get outta there, you'll be bored there, and we need you here, now that it's getting interesting ;).
