I've done a lot of developing in MapBasic (MapInfo's own mapping version). Now THAT was a real pain, unable to even use a the debugger (doesn't work when MapBasic is used in conjunction with another system, ie MapInfo in this case. But, Catch-22, who'd use MB if not to integrate with MI anyway!!!). And I have done some learning in VB, and I agree. But I guess it DVB is VB noo matter which version or platform, and GUI builders don't change much (except get better and one picks up quick). So i just want to check what speed I'm up to if get chance of jon interview.
