Hi Rick,

I've been going through tutorial, but I have questions.

1. Where should I put the bat file

sc create svn binpath= "\"c:\program files\subversion\bin\svnserve.exe\"

--service -rd:\subversion" displayname= "Subversion Server"

depend= Tcpip start= auto

and how should I name it and how does it fit into the picture?

2. I created the repository with the name Subversion_Repository on the c drive.

When I tried to run Subversion service from the Services Manager I'm getting
---------------------------
Services
---------------------------
Could not start the Subversion Server service on Local Computer.

Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified.

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

and this is what it tries
"c:\program files\subversion\bin\svnserve.exe" --service -rc:\Subversion_Repository

What should I do?

Could it be because of the long directory name (I already had Subversion folder on the c drive where I put the file downloaded from Internet).

Thanks a lot in advance.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
