In this setup I can lose a drive, a server, an entire channel and it won't matter. The setup just keeps on ticking. The concern I have is since any server can read/write does the SAN properly support multi-user locking, etc.

Sure is a lot of effort and expense for a file based database that can corrupt if a workstation or web server burps.

SQL Server scales, clusters, is inherently much more secure and reliable, and works great with VFP.

Just a thought.
