>>regardless of these sources, there seems a tendency here that people are rejecting the sources as credible if they say anyting they refuse to beleive, and are in a counter argument throwing in other non-credible sources. So if you refuse to want to believe those resource, I guess you'll have to do your own research in a manner that is unbiased. But again, if your trying to find resources saying the opposite, you'll find them, but that does not make it unbiased.

>I wouldn't have expected anything different from you. Its like going to MoveOn.org looking for statistics on the republican party or the atheist part headquarters for stats on catechism. Its a biased site, therefore any statistics will have a biased slant -- same for the links you provided. If there is a study by the dept of corrections that says, nationwide, it cost us xxxx$ to kill someone, that would be more believable.
Read the links. There are references there that refer to official figures. I can't help your refusing to read the links and are refusing to believe what its saying. It seems it is an easy way out for you to dismiss the sites as credible. You did not even take the time to find a 'credible source' to say otherwise.
From the links I gave you at least one gives a balanced view of both proponants and ones who oppose the death penalty. There is not doubt (even from the proponents) that execution is very costly and at the very least is not cheaper than life-term imprisonment.
So, unless you can come up with anything better I did (and I think the sources I gave you a credible), I think you need to reconsider your position, how painful it may be.
