I do not buy the premise. I do not believe that you are more enlightened than the average American. I believe you think you are and like many others you wish to impose you belief system on the rest. I find your suggestion to be superficial and meant to make the participant feel good while doing nothing to alleviate the the problem. I do not subscribe to the concept of enlightenment, I prefer practicality.
