Actually I do not know Michel's reason(s) for naming it a "twit filter". But I do know that when he washere, Ed Rauh would get annoyed with some people's responses and he was one of the ( or maybe the ) first ones to request a filter from Michel and he (Ed) called it a "twit filter" and so it has been referred to ever since.
