It was called a twit filter way back when all we had were bulletin boards, and no www. Afaik, it's always been called a twit filter.
>Actually I do not know Michel's reason(s) for naming it a "twit filter". But I do know that when he washere, Ed Rauh would get annoyed with some people's responses and he was one of the ( or maybe the ) first ones to request a filter from Michel and he (Ed) called it a "twit filter" and so it has been referred to ever since.

>>I don't think I'll ever understand how people can get so upset about such insignificant things. It's been known as a 'twit filter' for more years than I can recall - long before the UT was even just an idea in Michel's head.

>>With all the important things in this world to worry about, how does something as trivial as this even make it onto anyone's radar?
