None of my business really, but to get JVP back you'd need to convince Michel it is in the interests of this forum. This thread doesn't seem likely to achieve that.

The majority of "voters" ruled in favor - IMO that speaks louder than any list of reasons I could state.

At any rate, John is a former MVP, developer, speaker, writer, and consultant. If those aren't qualifications for a technical forum, then I don't know what is.

Aside from a scarce few who actually offered some opinions that weren't rooted in deep personal biases (e.g. Charlie Schreiner), I found most of the opposition to John's reinstatement to be either comical or downright professionally immature.

FWIW, IMHO Michel has been entirely consistent in his behavior regarding these matters for a decade.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. Michel's reasons for the 2nd ban have never held water.
