Thanks for your message, I appreciate your words. I'm glad to hear that someone got some value out of the SQL thread.

I realize I'm being severe - the point is that someone has to be.

There's a nastier trend here - individuals taking offense to statements by others, and seeking revenge of some sort by contacting the person's employer. I think you'd agree that the ramifications from that are far more severe, if someone loses a job, or simply fears losing their job. There have been instances of people "treatening" to do this, instances that have never been mentioned here on the UT...so the problem is very very bad.

Ratting on the sly to someone's employer is low in my book. It's like taking a sucker-punch at someone and then disappearing immediately.

As far as my "gain"....I have one goal - when I learn of this person's identity, I will make a public example of him/her. And it will make anyone else who ever thinks about sending an email to someone's company think twice.

And just in case anyone actually thinks I'm talking about a physical threat....I have no intentions of harming even one strand of hair on the perpetrator's head. Thought an argument could hypothetically be made that a simple slap in the face might be preferable to what this person is going to experience. :)

So in a sense, I am doing something for the community - at least for those members who would never send an email to someone's employer, but could wind up being a victim someday. I've never been the victim of one of these, so it's not like I'm acting out of personal revenge.

I do appreciate your message and what you're saying. I certainly don't "want" to be doing any of this. But I'm also not "accusing someone for nothing"....as a matter of fact, I'm not making any accusations at all.
