>Agreed but that goes against the myth of DotNet taking much longer to develop in than VFP which is defended with a near religious zeal.

>Really? I'd heard that insecure NET wannabes kept coming to VFP forums with taunts and demeaning slogans to try to make themselves feel more capable. Never seems to work, though.

>FWIW: posting provocations like either of the above is neither difficult nor impressive. We can all do it, just as all of us can pass loud flatus in a Starbucks queue if we are so inclined. The question is: why would you?
I haven't said anything for the longest time about .net/VFP, but it burns me when somebody posts an obviously biased slant on how good VFP is comparatively. We have converted and are in the process of converting 100,000's of lines of VFP code with just as much finesse and funcitonality as Mike quoted, and it is taking about the same amount of time to convert them. We are using 4 man teams with a QA and a product manager to do so.
And it takes insecure net/vfp wannabees to keep flaming the fires and defending an outdated, outmoded and out-surpassed product.
