I have read all of the posts I can find on this problem, including the Vista-related ones. I simply don't know how much of that is applicable.

I did observe one interesting thing with the launcher created by GenLoader: It won't work on my workstation when the files are in a subdirectory of C:\program files but will work with the app elsewhere on C:\. I'm not sure what that means because the VFP version works fine with the app in C:\program files. That implies there is something going on other than rights since I am the administrator.

I will be on site at this client's office on Monday. It will give me a chance to try a few things--if I can come up with some that haven't already failed. Or it will provide an opportunity for another "discussion" with the IT consultant :-(
