Visual FoxPro:
FoxPro Windows
>All my FPx work was in FPD - we made one demo for FPW, made it work and then decided we should wait for FP3 (we had no idea it would get a V, but we just saw that FPW is not a true Windows Fox, it's more FPD IN Windows than FOR Windows). In FPD, I remember seeing about eight to ten lines of trace.

>I've fired up my museum copy of FPD2.6 and it seems the debugger does have a maximum height of about a dozen lines. I'm quite surprised that it has only two panes... it's been a number of years since I played with that baby ;).
The stack window was hidden in the first menu of the trace window and also takes you to the current line in that subfunction - I remember how happy I was to figure out how this worked in this "weird system" coming from ModulaII (with great debugging support) and different C, Fortran and Pascal compilers (with wildy varying debuggers). I think the last time I showed that feature to somebody struggling with maintainance was in 2003 - it was not "self-explaining" unless you happen to click in that area<g>
