As someone who was there, let me clarify that. Bob was not responsible in any way for finding his successor. He did recommend a few people as possible new editors to Roland (forget his last name) of Pinnacle, who was the person responsible. I happen to know this because I was one of the people Roland contacted and so was Whil. John may have been one of them as well, I don't know. All I was told was there were four or five candidates. At the time I was disappointed to not be chosen but in retrospect have to agree Whil was the right choice. IAC, I just want to correct the statement that Bob, as the outgoing editor, was responsible for finding his replacement. He was not.

Not everything is about John Peterson.
