First, I support your business and I respect your right to do as you see fit. I believe in capitalism completely. I also appreciate the content of this site. Thank you for making it available over the years.

Having written that, I disagree with your latest statement. While I think it is reasonable to restrict vulgarity and personal attacks against a person (race, creed, color, sex, religion, political affiliation, et al), I think the subject matter should be open as the section is indeed labeled 'Chatter.'

No one has to read every message in Chatter. No one has to read every message in the technical section either. Chatter is not the technical part of the forum and one would expect a 'Chatter' section to be just that: chatter. If the chatter section bothers someone, they can simply avoid it. If someone's posts bother them, they can twit them. After all, you made that service available to paying members and if someone really wants to filter out specific messages then they should be expected to pay for the priviledge.

Also, this is beginning to sound just a little too much like Big Brother Michel. After reading the two pages of rules for this site, I believe the majority of your active members (not the minority) have broken a rule or two over the years and most likely it was unintentional.

>>All right, plain and simple, when are you going to get around to banning Mike Helland for using vulgar language and personally attacking other members.

>This subject has been covered several times. There is no need to assume none has been done or to request things to do done because those situations are not discussed on the site. The administrative procedures in regards to that are kept confidential and it will remain like that. In the other message, I already mentioned that we still have a lot of issues under way. The recent situations on the site in the last weeks have caused us a lot of work and time, time we do not have. If members would start acting accordingly to the rules of the site, we wouldn't have to do that and we would be able to do our work. I mentioned it recently. I expect the members to act like professionals on the site because, to my knownledge, I would assume they all are professional in their jobs. This is why we are still thinking of shutting down completely this forum, all Chatter categories and adjust the rules in regards to that. All I see in the Chatter since several weeks is a very high level of intentional
>Internet trolling, pollution, intentional debates with the goal on creating fights and stuff like that. I am several members are really not impressed about that.
