>>But, over the past weeks, we have seen a pattern in how the Chatter forum and categories are being used. And, because this is harming the good running of the site, based on several issues we have observed, one of the counter measure could be to remove the Chatter forum completely. But, this is not done yet.

>How has this affected "the site?" Can't we just turn off what we don't like? I haven't heard a whisper from Peter in a while now, and it's nice. No banning needed. If you don't like what's on the station, turn the channel.
C'mon, Jay, you know how it affects "the site". You even name one yourself when you say "turn the channel". How would MichelF make any profit if everyone who was feeling the negativity of recent weeks simply went elsewhere????
How might we know if PeterDLV was banned?... or not?
There was a highly negative atmosphere on the UT VFP forum in the last several weeks and most of it came from the same source. A .NET MVP who, I would bet dollars to doughnuts, wasn't nearly so negative in the UT's .NET forum.
You've been hypercritical of MichelF's banning of KevinG. Maybe you should just "turn the channel".
