I am not limiting the dataset results and I am returning the entire dataset. I am allowing the filtering process of the RadGrid to do what it does. I could add my own textboxes, etc. and use these values to be passed to my stored procedure calls to limit the dataset, but using the RadGrid filter meant I would have the same functionality without having to write any code.

I discussed this with Kevin last week, so he is aware of this issue. However, since I can get this to function with a workaround (clicking the Get Data button), I am not spending time right now to get this to work optimally. There are other more pressing issues that I am working on that require attention first. In the near future, I am going to re-visit this and look deeper into the mechanics of the filtering capabilities and also look into the performance ramifications of returning the entire dataset as well.
