As I remember, in order to create a modifiable cursor, meaning that the fields are editable, I had to actually use the CREATE CURSOR command, but is there a way to do this with SELECT SQL Code?
I tried the following and of course, the temporary cursor's fields weren't editable. I really only care to alter the lSelect field, using a checkbox in a GRID. The user selects the SPECS that he wants to print so that he can see multiple Specifications in one report, based on those he selects:
SELECT ;
prod_no, ;
.f. As lSelect;
FROM specs ;
ORDER BY prod_no ;
INTO CURSOR tmpSpecs
