>Us? We? ;-)

Uh, hello, I do live here in the center of crime and all things basketball...

>Yes, mighty impressive showing. It will be interesting to see how the Memphis-Texas game goes. Not really fair that Memphis, the #2 overall seed in the tournament, has to play it in Houston, but the best teams usually find a way to win regardless of circumstances. Texas is a good team, too. Stanford is not bad themselves and Texas mashed them.

I've heard that "life is not fair", so if they are worthy, they can win anywhere.

>All the pretenders are gone now (see ya later, Big 10) and IMO everyone left has a chance to win it. All four top seeds are still going, along with one #2 and two #3's. And the other last team standing, Davidson, should have convinced everyone by now that they are more than a Cinderella. I was impressed by the graphic CBS showed during their game last night about Davidson's non-conference schedule. They played Carolina, Duke, UCLA, and NC State. They lost them all but every game was close. You don't win 25 in a row, the nation's current longest streak, against anyone unless you're pretty good. I really love watching Stephen Curry. He is a pure lights-out shooter who can get his shot off in traffic. Wisconsin is a very good defensive team (I will give them that) and they couldn't stop him any more than the two previous teams could.

Everyone has cracked on Memphis's schedule, but they didn't see that we beat UConn by 9, Oklahoma by 10, Georgetown by 14, and Cincinnati by 10. We only lost 1 game (total) and that was by 4 to Tennessee. I think our team has the chance to take all the marbles, particularly if they can start each game like last night! Oh yeah, and the coach is as good as they get. He is very involved in community, he cares about his guys, and he presents a humble person to the public, but one who takes care of business. Calipari for president!<g>
