What a better place to learn social skills than in high school? Honestly, you have 4 years to make friends, figure out who you are, etc, etc. At the end of the 4 years if you don't like how it turned out you get a re-do when you go to college.
If social skills aren't learned in HS, where are they learned? Or are they learned at all?
