t should be fairly easy to create a Container with a TextBox and a Timer; or a TextBox by itself, which loads the appropriate Timer, with AddObject(), into a special property of the TextBox.If you want all the labels to flash together and/or to avoid lots of timers doing the same task, maybe the timer should be on the form, with each flashing label simply adding a reference to itself to the timer that gets added automatically by the first flashing label.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
