Tell me why the US invaded iraq while there was no real evidence of WMD and there was in Iran, North Korea, India, Pakistan and maybe others?? Iraq was tightly controlled by inspections that found nothing. It was controled by no-fly zones and was under constant pressure. It was sold to you as such. By now, most of your government does not believe that argument themselves anymore.

I find it very unlikely it was a combination. There must have been one overwhelming reason, and some other reason(s) were added to it, to sell it to the government and its citizens.
