I got the flu (like real influenza - the stuff that can kill people), developed pneumonia on top, had my kidneys quit (I have a kidney disease that makes them very sensitive to immune system flareups) and wound up hospitalized in ICU for a couple of weeks after being sick at home for a week before. I couldn't eat or drink. They kept me alive in IV fluids and lots of druge.
I lost 35 pounds that way.
That was my crash diet.
It might not be a good option for everyone.
