I lost over 20 lbs by going on the Adkins diet. If you like meat, eggs, cheese,etc. you can do eet! I stay on it for three or four weeks, then back off, then I'll go back on for a week or so. I also weigh every morning.
I know a guy who lost 140 lbs in one day too. His wife divorced him....
