Not a bad point, Tamar. But I don't have an inability to eat much (my name is on plaques at Shula's in Miami attesting to eating 48 oz steaks), but more a preference not to. I just don't like to eat large portions....heh, unless dared to.

>>I weigh about 210 lbs, 6'1" tall. All of that weight is in my gut. The rest of me is all skinny. My Dad was the same way and my grandfather was the same way.

>>I eat next to nothing. I rarely eat breakfast or lunch. Maybe, at best, 1800 calories a day. My wife is 5'1" and 94 lbs (size 4 soaking wet) and she routinely out-eats me.

>FWIW, everything I've read about healthy eating says that the way you're eat is probably the cause of your inability to eat much. The body adapts when you don't feed it. In addition, pretty much all the research says that not eating breakfast is a major diet mistake.

>In your case, you'd probably need to get back on a normal eating plan (three meals a day along with a couple of healthy snacks) along with an increase in exercise to reset your metabolism.
