Check out the VFP Compiler for .Net (www.etecnologia.net). They are making solid progress. You probably won't have to write anything in C#. I think it will be just about done by end of year. I figure it will save us a couple of years of mind-conversion (and mindless, endless, useless typing) for our "conversion" efforts. At the same time, not one of course clients gives a hoot what it's written in. Our reason for moving over has to do with wanting Silverlight on mobiles, for some functions. That, and the need to keep up with competitors.

We want to use Sql Replication if possible but it has to allow us to perform a pull merge and replicate database changes ( I have read that the RMO tools allow this to happen and you cannot use the wizards to set up replication ). Also partial replicas would be nice on our remote Sql express users but not a deal killer.
