O.K. so I figured out if the table has been indexed just prior aka (from the command window) then when I run the select code it shows the proper order on the report. I already have an index database.prg I have built and it works however unless I use this hard code from the command window it will display improperly this is what I type in the command window prior to running the code.
INDEX on date TAG date
is there a way to add the index on command to the select statement code so that each time this report/s are run the data is always pre-indexed???

If you would like to see my code for indexdbf I can send that also maybe this is not working properly also???

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Fred W.
