Hi Fred,

You're not doing it right.

Start from scratch. Run the select statement you just showed, then try to create a report but make sure to not alias the fields in the report. Using cursor approach should always work correctly.

>O.K. so I figured out if the table has been indexed just prior aka (from the command window) then when I run the select code it shows the proper order on the report. I already have an index database.prg I have built and it works however unless I use this hard code from the command window it will display improperly this is what I type in the command window prior to running the code.
