It means phone support. Many of the people that were on the dev team are still at Microsoft. Alan and Milind, who did management, Richard, Aleksy, and Calvin, who were devs are still there. I'm not sure about the QA people.

When we met with Alan at the Summit, Milind and Richard also attended. Richard's focus on the Fox team was reporting. He did many of the reporting enhancements in 8.0 and 9.0. As most of the major bugs in SP2 are reporting related, it was good he was there so he could hear first hand about the issues.

>That's what I meant. Are you saying that support until 2015 only means someone answering the phone and guiding you through the product as it is, not fixing bugs? Who uses support? To me, supporting a product means having people available to answer the phones and provide 1st level support to the customer, a quality assurance department and developers at a minimum. What does MSFT consider 'support until 2015?' Phone support only?
