Milind is still there. He and Richard were also in the meeting with Alan. Alan would have to beg, borrow, and steal to get resources to fix anything. And to make it more difficult, Alan is no longer in the Dev Div. I hope that some things can get fixed. You are correct that the community would need to QA any fixes coming out.

Furthermore, I'm not sure what the budget is for resources for VFP related work but I would hazard a guess it's miniscule. Alan and Milind mean well but they are handcuffed.
