Now I want to watch "The Right Stuff" again. Have you seen it? Thinking in particular of the early, then unknown heroes of supersonic flight like Chuck Yeager. I love the scene where a reporter on the scene rushes for a pay phone to tell his newsroom that the sound barrier has been broken and a military guy refuses to let him, on the grounds of secrecy. (With NASA, the government got over its reticence....)
