We added that as a feature of an accounting system, to store tiffs of scanned checks with the invoice record that they paid.

If you want to get really fancy our system tied the tiffs together with the invoice record using another table, since there could be multiple tiffs for one invoice.

Then we used a 3rd party activex for displaying tiffs. So when you clicked on the button on the invoice to view available scans of checks, a form displayed that had the scan displayed as well as many options for viewing the graphic thanks to the library.

The JPG files can be named to match the item keys.
