What kind of actions US government could take to "shut down or slow the camps" when USA was already in the war? By the way, I am curious, does your blaming include US president office? I would expect you to have kinder opinion about FDR, and you clearly castigate executive branch for lack of actions.
US immigrant policies had political reasons, and I think that you know about them; therefore bringing racist accusation is excessive and misleading, imo.
