1324282 I asked how VSS can be stopped in a batch file. I have now discovered Taskkill and PsKill. Taskkill is a tool in WinXP Pro and Vista. PsKill is a tool from SysInternals.
Both have proven to me they can kill VSS and VFP. However, I also noticed that the ON SHUTDOWN routine of VFP was not respected. This gives me the feeling that it may occur that VFP may shut down in a dirty way, perhaps even 'corrupting' tables.
Has anyone experience with this way of killing VFP?
