How do you call a stored procedure outside of the database?

Why wouldn't you need to insert an ID? I can't envision a situation where I'd want some of my records to have IDs and some not...

I don't get this problem if I insert directly to the table, not the view, but then the grid isn't focused on the right spot, so that won't work. I guess I'll have to try and do an insert into.
