Hi Doug, thanks for the explanation but I don't agree with this "rules".

That is no good for VFP community. What about Tab Menu, Command bars is in the market? What about themed controls? there is an outlook extension for command bars?

VFPX is great, but I don't like the fact the projects administrators are protecting existing commercial frameworks. I think if a freeware version is available it will force the commercial products to get better and provide more features for the users. I know anyone can start their own project on codeplex, but it will not get the same level of attention as VFPX does.

I hope you don't misunderstand my comment, I love VFPx.

Maybe you can explain more clearly what other factors are making VFPx administrator to make these kind of restrictions.
