Ok, working on tasks where it it is standard ops I did not picture, and the "fugitive" part is something I think happening more often in the US as well.
@Tracy: I really am a number buff - remember that we have here less weapons on the whole. Not having to fire speaks clearly of profecialism. I had equated John's number with preparing to draw over here, but only for "normal" cops. I am pretty sure that my views on justice are more on the conservative side even for US standards (making me a dinosaur relict over here) but there are other areas like the puritanism shown in public where I prefer european ways<g>.
