Try a combination of the suggestions from Ken and Barbara with a twist:

Delete FOXUSER.DBF and remember to SET RESOURCE OFF.
Delete all PJ? files (totally wipe out the project)
Reinstall VFP
BUILD PROJECT from the main program fropm Command Window.
Now visually try to edit the project....what happens?

And, BTW, what it the exact crash message?

>working fine, suddenly code tab on project manager will cause a system crash when clicked. I have reinstalled vfp and removed all extras from memory but it still crashes. It was working fine yesterday when I was writing some new code.
