Ahh, but by whom? Who actually is saying it? Are Republican Senators, Congressmen, or anyone in a position of leadership or public? Or just people on the street? If I called him unpatriotic, my words carry no weight in the public sphere, but if a group of Republican Senators did, it would be different. I guess McCain should start complaining about the comments made about him here on the UT?

Also, you cannot put too much weight on one extremist either, for example, I would never put much weight into what Bryd said, nor would I put much weight in what Murtha said...
