Not true at all... based on the stat I'd heard this weekend that Canada did not win any medals in the last Winter Olympics they hosted...

Overall Canada summer atheletes are twice as medal prodigious as their winter atheletes:

*Later update* of course this may be caused by having twice as many atheletes and/or twice as many games in summer vs winter... lies, damn lies, and statistics after all...
