The UDF is a prg that accepts the data for the fields as parameters and inserts them into the cursor--just 2 lines of code. Is there a faster way to do this? I've tried using Insert ... in the On Exit expression but apparently that's not allowed...

One pass goes to file but the other goes to the printer and is immediately deleted. Is there a way to eliminate the one to the printer? I thought there wouldn't be a second pass if _PageTotal wasn't being used. Perhaps I was mistaken.

A two pass run is only generated if _PageTotal is used somewhere on the FRX. The first pass is a dummy pass to calculate .. the second pass is the one that actually prints.
