Wow, there's something very strange going on then. _PageTotal is NOT on this report; I created a new report definition just to be sure. There are definitely 2 passes when the report prints to file, but not when it is sent to Preview. Preiview is much, much faster for some reason . Is there any way to print to Preview for this first pass and hide the output from the user?
