>> Printer drivers are always a possibility ... and HP is one that is famous for not playing nice! My HP worked fine .. until I upgraded to Vista. Now certain features don't work right on the printer ...and it really ticks me off.

That's *NOT* been my experience. My issue with Vista and the printer is the driver for this printer for Vista. If I print from my XP machine using the driver that is for this printer and XP, everything works fine. But the Vista version of the driver screws up things. For example, when printing landscape, it offsets the top and left margin slightly. Another example is printing duplex printing. With the Vista version it ALWAYS rotates the back page .. it refuses to keep the pages the same direction no matter what the setting is.

I tried to contact them and got nowhere. The front-line person didn't know what the heck he was talking about and I wasted a ton of time talking with him. I was escalated up to someone else who assured me they are working on a fix for the driver and it will be out soon. Um .. that was about a year ago .. and still no fix.
