And you wouldn't believe how refreshing does word "institutionalized" sound in context of politicians.Trouble is, somebody has to do it. That's the curse of modern politics: those we could trust the most are the least interested, and vice versa. ;-) Add vast costs to stand at all and you've got an "institutionalized" process from woe to go. Which is why Palin is going to generate such interest. Sheesh, she turns up at an airport with her daughter and flies coach because she decided the governor's jet was a waste and sold it on e-bay! Ordinary folk will identify with that. Unless they can find a scandal to knock her down, IMHO she's going to appeal to a lot of people.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
