So the two meanings are wordmates... sharing the same word, not having one of their own - which is the content of those pages, meanings without their own words. Besides, the derivatives "bolesnicki krevet" - "the afflictedski bed"?

And you return from abroad, if you're Sloba you drag the abroad closer (by losing land :)... probably covers the common usage but not the derivatives. "U zemlji i inostranstvu" - "in the country and abroad", OK, "inostrana firma" - "a foreign company"... well, may still work. Disassembled, "inostranstvo" is "othersidehood", or "othercountryhood", and "stran" is, amazingly, the same as in "stranger".

But "pokvario se kamion" - "the truck broke" although all of its pieces are in one piece each. It just doesn't work.

Say, the word "chicken" applies to these birds when they are... what age exactly? Or is it a chicken at any age, but becomes a hen or a rooster only when in those roles, i.e. sitting on an egg or playing a Casanova or alarm clock? Because we have one general names for this sort of poultry, then another for poultry in general, and "pile" (probably from French poulee (sp?)) for their young. This being quite an unimportant subject, I never pursued it to full understanding... and now I'm just as ignorant as I was decades ago.
