>>>>>>>sagovornik - go-between
>>>>>>
>>>>>>Nope, that's the "potrcko" (the runabout, literally) or "posrednik" (middleman). Sagovornik is interlocutor in English - but nobody uses that word; I haven't heard it ever, just found it when I was checking. Sa=with, govoriti=speak, so, co-speaker, partner in conversation. Two people who talk are sagovornik to each other.

>>>Well I don't know. An interlocutor, to me, is someone who speaks to both parties, on their behalf(s). From the latin "to speak between" afaik.
>>
>>No. It's just a person who takes part in a conversation. The old minstrel shows used to have a guy in the minstrel chorus line who sort of led the conversation. He would ask questions of the others, and they would reply with the joke. He was the interlocutor. I think he was usually the guy in the middle of the line.

>Yeah, I know - "Mr interlocutor" who wore a big top-hat.

Could be. I'm only familiar with the original series. It became to sophisticated and took itself too seriously after Kirk and crew were replaced.
