No, but I have a probable cause...the domain server is likely providing GSNW (Gateway Services for NetWare, which makes NetWare shares available via the domain) to domain members, while non-domain members, or domain members who can't access GSNW (not members of the NTGATEWAY group of the domain) via the server have to handle the connection to the NetWare 4.1x server themselves. Reconfiguration of CSNW or adding non-domain members to the domain, even if only to join the NTGATEWAY group, may be necessary - get your network administrator in on this.
